Missionary Available in July in Conference
He is speaking at Dinuba UMC on July 1, and elsewhere on July 10, but he is willing to travel around and meet you after that. If you wish to know more about Rev. Martzen, go to the website.

Also coming to California-Nevada Conference is Janet Lahr Lewis, Israel-Palestine, October 20-27.
She is coming because of the good work of our Israel-Palestine Task Force, so this group will have a lot of say in her itinerary. Rev. Becky Goodwin says, “If you are interested I will see if we can send her to Redding. She is already busy on a conference event for October 27, and a Chico-Trinity UMC event October 20, so in between are some possibilities. Let me know of your interest soon!”
Editor’s note: In the April 2007 Response magazine an article by Janet Lahr Lewis is on pg. 31. Titled “Blessed Are The Children” it tells of Janet’s work as a missionary in Palestine/Israel through the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries. Drawings and writings she collected from villages in the West Bank and Israel are in a children’s book, Children of Biblical Lands, published by the GBGM for the 2005-2006 spiritual growth study for children. Also, an excellent photo of Janet on page 30.
